The cigar lighter can be used when the key in the ignition switch is in the "ON" or "ACC" (Accessory) position. To use the cigar lighter, press the lighter knob fully in. When the lighter is hot, it will automatically pop back out with a click. Do not hold the lighter in the fully pressed position, as this may damage the heating element and cause a fire. If the cigar lighter needs to be replaced, use only a genuine Hyundai cigar lighter or an equivalent.
