When the rear window heater switch is pressed, the outside rearview mirror heaters are also turned on.

Location of the rear window heater and outside rearview mirror heater switch

To remove fogging or icing, press the rear window heater switch. The mirror glass will heat up, providing a good rear view in any weather. To turn off the heater, press the rear window heater switch again. The outside rearview mirror heaters turn off automatically after 15 minutes.
