Keys
For your convenience, all locks on your vehicle can be unlocked with one key. However, since the doors can be locked without a key, it is recommended that you carry a spare key in case you accidentally lock the key inside your vehicle.

Keys that unlock all locks of the vehicle
Key Number
To prevent unauthorized persons from learning your key number, the number is stamped not on the key itself but on a removable number plate. Store the number plate in a safe place, separate from the keys and outside the vehicle. You should also record the key number in a place where you can access it if needed.
New keys can be ordered from any authorized Hyundai dealer by providing the key numbers. For security reasons, remove the metal number plate from the key after you take delivery of your vehicle. Hyundai does not provide key numbers for security reasons. If you need an additional key or have lost your keys, your authorized Hyundai dealer can make a new key for you.

Location of the Key Number Plate
If you make your own duplicate key, you will not be able to deactivate the system or start the engine.
