Tailgate - Trunk Lid

While driving, the tailgate or trunk lid must always be fully closed. If it is open or partially open, toxic exhaust gases may enter the passenger compartment.

To open the tailgate or trunk lid, turn the key clockwise in the lock, then lift the tailgate or trunk lid by hand.

To close the tailgate or trunk lid, lower it, then press it down until it latches. To make sure the tailgate or trunk lid is securely latched, try lifting it again.
