Do not use detergents, caustic soda or petroleum-based cleaners to clean vinyl panels. Warm soapy water is ideal for this purpose. Ingrained dirt is removed well with a soft brush (with soap). Clean vinyl panels with the same frequency as the vehicle body is washed.

After cleaning, the panels can be treated with one of the high-quality protectants for rubber and plastics, a wide selection of which is currently available at retail automotive accessory stores. The same products are suitable for treating tires, body seal strips, vacuum hoses and other rubber and plastic components.
