Door Glass Removal and Installation
Front Door Glass
PROCEDURE
1. Remove the door trim panel and water shield (refer to Door Trim Panel Removal and Installation).
2. Lower the glass fully.

3. Raise the glass far enough to access its mounting through the holes provided in the door frame.
4. Cover the upper edge of the glass with a rag, then remove the two mounting bolts.
5. Remove the glass from the door assembly through the window opening.
6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Rear Door Main and Fixed Glass
PROCEDURE
1. Remove the door trim panel and water shield (refer to Door Trim Panel Removal and Installation).
2. Lower the glass far enough to access the bolts on the guide. Loosen the bolts and, while supporting the glass, push the guide rearward. After freeing the glass from the guide, carefully lower it to the bottom position.

3. Release the inner weatherstrip from the door frame and rear channel to provide enough slack to remove the channel. Release the outer weatherstrip from the door to allow access to the upper channel screw.
4. Pull the glass guide channel forward, separating it from the fixed glass, then remove the channel from the door through the top and leave it hanging on the weatherstrip (to avoid damaging the door panel paint, cover the panel with an old towel).
5. The main glass can now be removed from the door frame through the window opening.
6. If necessary, the fixed door glass can then be removed. Work carefully, as the glass may be fitted quite tightly.
7. Installation is the reverse of removal. If the weatherstrip cannot be seated tightly enough, use a special sealing compound. Until the compound sets, the strip can be secured with adhesive tape.
Before tightening the main glass mounting screws, seat the glass fully in the front guide channel.
