PROCEDURE

1. Remove the front center console cover (see Section Removal and Installation of Center Console).

2. Pry off the plastic cover of the fuse block on the left side under the instrument panel. Remove the two mounting screws located under the cover.

3. Remove the upper right knee bolster mounting screw, then pry the assembly out, releasing the retaining clips.

4. If access to components located under the instrument panel is required, remove the bolts securing the knee bolster assembly brace. Pull the lower edge of the brace and remove the assembly from the vehicle.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
