Remote Control Outside Rearview Mirrors

The outside rearview mirrors can be adjusted in any direction to obtain the maximum rear view. The switch can adjust the position of both the right and left mirrors. To adjust the mirror position, perform the following steps:

PROCEDURE

1. Move the selector lever to the right or left to activate the adjustment mechanism of the corresponding mirror.

2. Then adjust the mirror tilt angle by pressing the corresponding side of the switch button, as shown in the illustration.

Do not scrape frost off the mirror, as this may damage the mirror surface. If ice prevents the mirror from moving, do not force it. Use aerosol de-icer, or a sponge or cloth soaked in warm water.

The right outside mirror is convex. Objects seen in the mirror are actually closer than they appear.

When changing lanes, use the interior rearview mirror, or look directly over your shoulder to determine the actual distance to vehicles approaching from behind.
