Adjustable Head Restraints

To raise a head restraint, pull it up to the desired position. To lower a head restraint, press the release button and at the same time push the head restraint down to the required position.

Head Restraint Height Adjustment

To reduce the likelihood of injury in a collision, adjust the head restraint height so that its center is as close as possible to the level of your eyes. If a cushion or similar item is placed between your back and the seatback, the distance between your head and the head restraint increases and the effectiveness of the head restraint in an accident will be reduced.

It is dangerous to drive with head restraints that are incorrectly adjusted or removed. Always make sure the head restraints are correctly installed and adjusted. Otherwise, serious neck injury may occur in a traffic accident.
