Tightening method for the M9 cylinder head bolts:

  1. Step: with torque wrench 30 N·m

  2. Step: turn all bolts a further 90 (1/4 turn) with a rigid wrench

  3. Step: turn all bolts a further 90 (1/4 turn) with a rigid wrench

Caution: cylinder head bolts must not be retightened when the engine is warm.
