Cooling

To use the air conditioner to cool the air inside the vehicle:

Control positions when operating the air conditioner in cooling mode

– turn the blower speed selector switch to turn off the blower;
– press the air conditioner switch to turn on the air conditioner. The air conditioner indicator lamp will illuminate in the instrument cluster;
– set the air intake selector switch to the fresh air intake mode;
– set the temperature control knob to the Cool position. This position provides maximum cooling. The temperature of the air entering the vehicle can be changed by moving the knob toward the Warm position;

– use the blower speed selector switch to select the desired blower speed. For maximum cooling, turn the blower speed selector switch to one of the highest speeds, or temporarily set the air intake selector switch to the recirculation mode.
