Before shifting gears, fully depress the clutch pedal, then release it slowly. Depress the clutch pedal again only after it has returned to its original position. Do not rest your foot on the clutch pedal while driving. This may cause clutch disc wear. Do not use the clutch to hold the vehicle on a grade. Use the parking brake for this purpose. Do not release the clutch pedal abruptly or repeatedly.
