Ready Mode

Park the vehicle and turn off the engine. Set the system to the ready mode in the following order:

– Remove the key from the ignition switch;
– Make sure that the hood and the trunk lid are locked;
– Lock the doors using the transmitter of the remote keyless entry system.

After completing the above steps, the turn signal indicators will flash once, indicating that the system is in the ready mode.

If any of the doors, the trunk lid, or the hood is open, the system will not be set to the ready mode.

If this occurs, set the system to the ready mode as described above.

The anti-theft system can be set to the ready mode only after all passengers have left the vehicle

Do not set the system to the ready mode until all passengers have left the vehicle. If passenger(s) are inside the vehicle, the audible alarm (siren) may sound when they leave the vehicle.
