Alarm Mode

The alarm is triggered when the vehicle is parked and the system is in the ready mode in one of the following cases.

1) A front or rear door is opened without using the transmitter or the ignition key.
2) The trunk lid is opened without using the ignition key.
3) The hood is opened.

In these cases, the audible alarm (siren) will sound and the turn signal indicators will flash for 30 seconds. This may repeat 3 times. To turn off the system, unlock the doors using the transmitter or the ignition key.

Do not attempt to start the engine when the anti-theft system is in the ready mode.

DISARMED MODE

The system can be disarmed by unlocking the driver's or passenger's door by pressing the "UNLOCK" button on the transmitter or by using the ignition key. After this, the turn signal indicators will flash twice, indicating that the system is disarmed.

After the system is disarmed, it can be set to the ready mode only by performing the above operations for setting the anti-theft system to the ready mode.
