1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Brake lines from the hoses.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Install the new brake hose, inserting its flat end correctly into the bracket hole. When installing the hose fitting in the bracket, do not twist the hose.

2. Connect the brake line to the hose. Tighten the hose-to-bracket connection to

12–18 N·m.

3. Install the retaining plate.

4. Lower the vehicle.

5. Bleed air from the system.

6. Check the system for leaks.
