Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Depress the brake pedal several times (at least 15 times). Depress the pedal

until clicking sounds from both brake assemblies are no longer heard.

2. Raise the vehicle and secure it properly..

3. Rear wheels..

4. Unscrew set screw 10 of the brake drum..

6. Fully screw threaded rod 101 into adjuster nut 102..

7. Check that the parking brake actuating lever is at the edge of the brake shoe web. If

necessary, loosen the parking brake cable..

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Brake drums and wheels..

2. Lower the vehicle..

3. Depress the brake pedal several times. Depress the pedal until clicking sounds from the adjuster

actuating levers are no longer heard from both brake assemblies. Depress the brake pedal at least 10 times..

Cessation of clicking of the adjuster actuating levers indicates that normal clearances

between the drum and brake shoes have been established..

4. Adjust the parking brake.
