Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Disconnect wire terminals from reservoir cover

2. Brake lines from master cylinder body 5 and proportioning valves

10. Plug openings to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination of the system.

3. Two mounting nuts.

4. Brake master cylinder assembly.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Brake master cylinder assembly. Install new self-locking nuts. Tighten

master cylinder mounting nuts to torque of 18 N·m.

2. Connect brake lines to body 5 and valves

10. Tighten brake line fittings.

to 16 N·m..

3. Connect wire terminals to cover

4. Fill with brake fluid.

5. Bleed air from the hydraulic system.

6. Recheck brake fluid level.
