Removal

  • Remove the outside door handle.

  • Unscrew the door lock with 3 screws.

Türfenster aus-und einbauen

  • Remove the door lock with the door locking knob and connecting rod.

  • Unhook the connecting rod from the inside operating lever on the lock.

  • If fitted, disconnect the central locking connector from the door lock.

Installation

  • Plug the central locking connector onto the door lock.

  • Hook the connecting rod onto the inside operating lever on the lock.

  • Install the door lock with the door locking knob and connecting rod and secure it with screws. Tighten the door lock screws to 10 N·m.

  • Install the outside door handle.

  • If the door does not close properly, adjust the door latch striker, see page 214.
