Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the interior door panel (refer to Subsection 13.11).

3. Disconnect all connectors, mark the wiring routing, and remove it from the clips.

4. Carefully pull the wiring out of the door openings, removing the grommets.

5. Drive out the door check strap pin.

6. Mark the position of the hinges on the door.

7. Supporting the door, remove the hinge bolts and remove the door.

8. Check the condition of the hinges and replace them if necessary by removing the bolts on the body.

9. Clutch cover.

10. Lower clutch housing mounting bolts to the cylinder block.

11. Install the door in the reverse order, aligning it with the marks made. Replace the door check strap pin. Adjust the door if necessary.

Adjustment

PROCEDURE

1. Carefully close the door and check the gaps between adjacent panels.

2. Adjust the door by moving it in the hinge holes of the door and body with the bolts loosened. After adjustment, tighten the bolts.

3. Check the door lock adjustment. If necessary, adjust by moving the striker on the body pillar with the bolts loosened. After adjustment, tighten the bolts.
