Interior Door Panel
Removal
PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. On vehicles with manual window regulators, pry the handle with a thin tool and remove it from the clips. Remove the trim.

3. Carefully pry up and remove the interior door handle trim.

4. Remove the plugs and unscrew the decorative handle screws, then pry up and remove the handle.
5. To access the screw, remove the window switch (or bezel) from the armrest and unscrew the screw.
6. Unscrew the remaining screws around the panel perimeter (some are located under the plugs).
7. On coupe vehicles, remove the mounting screws from the window switch.
8. Disconnect the spring clips around the panel perimeter, lift the panel, and remove it from the bracket.
9. Pull the panel toward you and disconnect the connectors of the power window and central locking. The lower window seal is integral with the panel and must be removed together with it.

10. If necessary, remove the plastic water shield by prying it up at the corner and carefully peeling it off. Try to keep the shield sealant intact.
11. Install the panel in the reverse order. Glue the shield around the entire door perimeter. The lower window seal must seat in the door frame.
