Trunk Lid Lock (Sedan)

Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

1. Release the clips around the lid perimeter and remove the inner panel.

2. Disconnect the clips from the lock cover.

3. Remove and move inside the lid the trunk light switch connector.

4. Remove the two bolts and take the lock out of the lid.

5. Move the rod by turning the key in the lock and pass the switch connector through.

6. Disconnect the connector and remove the lock.

7. Install the lock in reverse order.

Trunk Lock Switch

1. Remove the trim panel.

2. Remove the retaining ring and disconnect the lock actuating rod from the switch.

3. Remove the bracket and remove the switch.

Install the switch in reverse order.

Latch

1. Disconnect the seal and trim plate.

2. Remove the mat trim plate.

3. Mark the position of the latch, remove the two bolts, take out the latch and disconnect the lock actuating cable from the lever.

4. Install the latch in reverse order. Before installing the trim plate, check the lock operation.
