Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

1. If the mirror is power-operated, disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. If the mirror is manually adjusted, remove the screw and remove the adjusting handle.

3. Remove the door trim panel.

4. Remove the two screws and remove the mirror corner panel.

5. Disconnect the door screen at the upper front corner.

6. Disconnect the mirror drive connector and release the wires from the clips.

7. Remove the screws and remove the mirror.

8. Install the mirror in the reverse order.

Mirror Glass

1. If the mirror is heated, disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Pry the glass out by the frame, releasing the clips, and remove it.

3. Disconnect the wiring from the glass (heated mirror) and remove the glass.

4. Connect the wires, insert the mirror glass, and secure it with the clips.
