Vehicle Care. Interior Cleaning
Cleaning the interior of the Ford Mustang requires special care with materials such as fabric, leather or microfiber. This chapter describes how to gently clean seats, carpets and displays. Important warnings about unsuitable cleaning agents help prevent damage. The chapter is supplemented by instructions for seat belts, displays and sensitive surfaces. For owners who value a well-kept interior, it offers clear and practical recommendations.
Note: Never apply air fresheners or hand sanitizer to interior surfaces. Wipe up spills or leaks immediately. Damage may not be covered by the warranty.
Note: Do not use commercial cleaners or glass cleaners. They can cause stains or discoloration of the fabric and reduce the flame-retardant properties of the seat materials.
Note: We recommend using distilled water for cleaning.

WARNINGS
