Instrument cluster. Displays
The instrument cluster of the Ford Mustang (VI Gen) provides all important information at a glance, from the tachometer to the fuel gauge. The fuel level display warns you early of low fuel and supports anticipatory driving. In addition, information on MyKey, trip data and coolant temperature provides maximum control. For sports car drivers, this overview is essential for always reacting optimally to every driving situation.

Fuel gauge
Note: The fuel gauge may move slightly while the vehicle is moving or on inclines.
Turn the ignition on. The fuel gauge shows the approximate fuel level in the fuel tank. The arrow next to the fuel pump symbol indicates on which side of the vehicle the fuel filler door is located.
The needle should move toward F as you refuel the vehicle. If the needle still points to E after refueling, have the vehicle serviced.
After refueling, fluctuations in the needle position are normal:
- It may take a moment for the needle to reach F after you leave the fuel station. This is normal and depends on the slope of the ground at the fuel station.
- The amount of fuel added to the tank may be slightly more or less than the display indicates.
Low fuel warning
A low fuel reminder is issued once the remaining range reaches 80 km. Further warnings are issued at 40 km, 20 km and 0 km if the message is cleared each time. An additional warning at a remaining range of 120 km is issued when MyKey is in use.
Variants:
Note: The low fuel reminder may occur at different fuel gauge positions, depending on fuel consumption conditions. These differences are normal.

Coolant temperature gauge
WARNING
Never remove the coolant reservoir cap while the engine is running or hot.
Shows the engine coolant temperature.
At normal operating temperature, the gauge is within the normal range.
If the engine coolant temperature exceeds the normal range, stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so, switch off the engine and allow it to cool down.
