General information on radio frequencies
Note: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance may void the user's authority to operate the device.
The typical range of the remote transmitter is approx. 10 m.
A reduced range may be caused by the following:
- Weather conditions
- Proximity to radio towers
- Structures in the vehicle's surroundings
- Other vehicles parked next to yours.
The radio frequency of the remote transmitter is also shared with other radio transmitters, e.g. amateur radio, medical equipment, wireless headphones, remote controls, mobile phones, battery chargers and alarm systems.
If the radio frequencies are overloaded, the vehicle cannot be locked/unlocked with the remote transmitter. The doors can be locked and unlocked with the key.
Note: Make sure your vehicle is locked before leaving it unattended.
Note: As long as you are within range, the vehicle will respond if you press a remote button by accident.
Note: The remote transmitter contains sensitive electrical connections.
Moisture or impact loads can cause permanent damage.
