REMOVAL

CAUTION

To remove the driver side A-pillar trim, unscrew 2 screws. To unscrew the front screw, the hood release handle must be removed.

PROCEDURE

1. Unscrew the 2 screws on the hood release handle. To unscrew the front screw, pull the handle.

2. Disconnect the handle from the release linkage and set it aside. Refer to Removal and Installation of Hood Release Cable.

3. Remove the screw -1-.

4. Disengage the trim -3- from the door sill plate -2- and remove it.

INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. Install the A-pillar trim at the bottom -3- under the door sill plate.

2. Secure the trim with the screw -1-.

3. Connect the handle to the linkage and secure it with two screws near the driver's feet.
