Windshield Washer Nozzles Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the arm –1–. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm End Position Removal, Installation, Inspection and Adjustment and the illustration.

2. Remove the sealing rubber –2–.

3. Carefully pry up and lift the windshield defroster duct at the edge of the glass.

4. Disconnect the nozzle connections on the reverse side of the windshield defroster duct.

5. Remove the duct.

6. Press the lock (arrow in the illustration) with a small screwdriver and at the same time gently press the connecting element.

7. Pull the nozzle (A) out of the windshield heater. INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. Press the nozzle into the windshield heater air duct and secure it.

2. Install the heater, and from the rear side slide it onto the connecting nozzles.

3. Install the heater on the edge of the glass and install the arms. Refer to Removal and Installation, Checking and Adjusting the Wiper Arm End Position.

4. Install the sealing rubber.
