REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. Open the tailgate.

2. Remove seal –1–.

INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

Press seal –1– against the body flange as shown in the illustration. Make sure the vulcanized seam (arrow) is at the level of the gas strut ball stud.
