When the high beams are switched on, or when the high beam flash function is used, the high beam indicator receives power from the right headlamp high beam fuse (refer to the Body Electrical System chapter). However, it cannot indicate whether the high beam filaments are actually illuminated; this must be checked manually. The ground connection for this indicator is also made through the instrument cluster.
