Rocker switches contain small glass-base bulbs to illuminate the symbols, and in some of them additional bulbs to illuminate the "switch on" arrow symbol. Bulb replacement:

PROCEDURE

Carefully pry the switch button off with a small screwdriver.

Remove the glass-base bulb with sharp pliers or strong tweezers.

Insert a new glass-base bulb.

This method does not apply to all switch versions. If the bulb cannot be replaced, the entire switch must be replaced.
