The buzzer sounds if the headlights are still on or the radio is on while the driver's door is open and the ignition key has been removed.


On models not equipped with a self-diagnostic system, this reminder sound comes from the instrument cluster, more precisely from the mini-check system housing.

On models equipped with a self-diagnostic system, an annoying buzzing sound comes from the additional relay block on the left, below the dashboard. Anyone bothered by this sound can eliminate it by removing the buzzer (in the relay housing) from socket cavity 12.
