The Audi 80 has speakers at the top left and right of the instrument panel. Removal and installation are described below.


PROCEDURE

Carefully lift the speaker grille with a small screwdriver and remove it.

The speaker itself is secured with two Phillips-head screws.

When installing, press the retaining tabs into the recesses in the instrument panel.

The rear speakers are located in the rear door trim panels.

Left: after disconnecting the speaker attached to the back of the door trim panel (black arrows show the mounting points), the speaker (2) becomes accessible. It is also screwed directly to the trim panel (white arrows show the mounting screws).


Right: the tweeter (2) is installed separately and secured with a threaded ring (1).
