Anti-Lock Braking System Indicator
In this manual: Instruments and Auxiliary Equipment
~1min read
On models equipped with ABS, this indicator illuminates when the ignition is switched on as a function check. If it does not, replace the bulb (as previously described). The indicator must go out when the engine is running.
The indicator also illuminates if the ABS system has been disabled by the main switch (fitted to models produced before June 1992).
If it illuminates while driving, this indicates a fault in the anti-lock braking system. Have the ABS checked at a workshop (see also the Anti-Lock Braking System chapter).
