Installation of New Wiper Motor

PROCEDURE

Connect the motor electrical connector and let it run briefly. Switch off and wait until it returns to its initial position.

Install the motor on the bracket, then fit the drive crank and wiper arms.

Place the drive link onto the motor crank from below on the left wiper shaft; the right wiper shaft connects to the motor crank from above.

Now tighten the motor crank so that it is in the position shown in the lower right illustration.

If the drive crank is not secured in this specific position, the arms will move downward when operation starts.

Installing the wiper blade arms: tighten the mounting screws fairly lightly, because they sit in plastic bushings!
