Seat Belt Reminder Light

Seat Belt Reminder Light
The indicator comes on when the ignition switch is turned to the ON (II) position.
It reminds you and your passengers to fasten your seat belts. If the seat belt is not fastened, the indicator light comes on together with an audible warning signal.

If the front passenger does not fasten the seat belt, the indicator comes on approximately 6 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the ON (II) position.
If the driver's or front passenger's seat belt is not fastened while the vehicle is moving, the indicator flashing and the buzzer sounding will repeat periodically. For more information, refer to page 22.
If the driver's seat belt is not fastened, the multi-information display shows the icon "
” or the message "FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELT"; if the front passenger's seat belt is not fastened, the multi-information display shows the “
” or the message "FASTEN PASSENGER'S SEAT BELT".
