Vehicle Stability Control (VSA) Warning Light

The warning light comes on for a few seconds when the ignition key is turned to the ON (II) position.

If the VSA warning light comes on under any other conditions, or does not come on when the ignition key is turned to the ON (II) position, the vehicle stability control system is likely malfunctioning. Take the vehicle to an authorized dealer for inspection and possible repair. With the VSA system inoperative, the vehicle can continue to be driven; however, the traction control and yaw stability control functions will not operate.

”, which may be accompanied by the message "CHECK SYSTEM" (see page 107).
