Opening the Luggage Compartment Door Manually

If the luggage compartment door cannot be unlocked with the central door lock switch, it can be unlocked manually. In this case, the door cannot be opened with the door open button.

The luggage compartment door is opened using the lever located on the inside of the door.

Cover the edge of the cover with a rag, then use a small flat-blade screwdriver to remove the cover located on the inside of the luggage compartment door.

Press the lever to the right and down, as shown in the illustration.

If it becomes necessary to open the luggage compartment door manually, this indicates a malfunction. Take the vehicle to an authorized dealer service center for inspection and repair if necessary.
