Headlight on indicator

This indicator reminds the driver that the exterior lights are on.

The indicator illuminates when the lighting switch is in the
or
position. If the exterior lights are on and the ignition key is turned to ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (0), the indicator will remain lit. If the key is still in the ignition lock, a buzzer will sound when the driver's door is opened.

In addition, the following icon appears on the multi-information display: "
”, which may be accompanied by the message "HEADLIGHTS ON" (see page 101).

Vehicles with automatic headlight function

This indicator also illuminates when the headlights are switched on automatically, which occurs when the lighting switch is in the AUTO position.

If this function malfunctions, the multifunction display shows the symbol “
”, which may be accompanied by the message "CHECK SYSTEM".
