Turn Signal and Hazard Warning Indicators

The left and right turn signal indicators (arrows) flash when the turn signal or lane change signal is activated. If the indicator does not flash or flashes at an increased rate, this usually indicates that a bulb in one of the turn signal lights has burned out (see page 395). Replace the burned-out bulb as soon as possible, as other road users cannot see your direction change signals.

When the hazard warning button is pressed, all turn signal lights and the left and right turn signal indicators on the instrument panel flash simultaneously.

For added convenience when signaling a lane change, your vehicle is equipped with a feature that turns on the turn signals after a single brief press of the lighting control lever (see page 140).
