Glow Plug Indicator (diesel engine versions only)

The indicator illuminates for a few seconds when the ignition key is turned to the ON (II) position* (at low outside temperatures or at high altitude, it stays illuminated longer).

If the engine is cold, wait for the indicator to go off before starting the engine.

Any of the above symptoms may indicate a malfunction of the fuel temperature sensor.

Have the vehicle inspected by an authorized dealer in the following cases:

If this indicator goes off faster than usual at very low outside temperatures.

If the engine is difficult to start.
