Remote Transmitter for Power Door Locks

LOCK — DOOR LOCKING. Press the LOCK button on the transmitter to lock all doors at the same time. When the LOCK button is pressed, the turn signal lamps and the turn signal indicators on the instrument panel flash three times, which indicates that the doors are locked and the security system (if equipped) is armed. If any door, including the luggage compartment door, is not fully closed, or the key is left in the ignition switch, locking the doors with the remote transmitter is not possible.

UNLOCK — DOOR UNLOCKING. Press the UNLOCK button on the transmitter to unlock all doors at the same time.

When this button is pressed, all turn signal lamps and the turn signal indicators on the instrument panel flash once.

For some vehicle variants

Press this button once to unlock the driver's door. Pressing this button again will unlock all other doors, including the luggage compartment door.

When the door locks are unlocked with the remote transmitter, the front interior lamp (the lamp switch must be in the DOOR position) and the rear interior lamp (the lamp switch must be in the middle position) turn on automatically. If none of the doors, including the luggage compartment door, is opened within 30 seconds, the interior lamps turn off. If you lock the doors again with the remote transmitter before 30 seconds have elapsed, the interior lamps turn off immediately.

If you do not open any door within 30 seconds, all doors lock automatically and the security system (if equipped) is set to standby mode.

If the key is in the ignition switch, unlocking the doors with the remote transmitter is not possible.

Double Lock (Super Lock) (for certain vehicle versions)

The double lock can be activated with the remote transmitter. To activate the double lock, press the LOCK button on the remote transmitter twice within 5 seconds.

The super lock does not engage if any door, including the liftgate, is not fully closed.

However, it engages even when the hood is open or the windows are not raised.

To cancel the double lock, press the unlock button on the remote transmitter or unlock the driver's door with the key.

WARNING

If people remain in the vehicle after the double lock is activated, they will not be able to open the doors from the inside.

Before activating the double lock system, make sure there are no passengers in the vehicle.
