Seat Heaters (for some vehicle versions)

Both front seats of your vehicle may be equipped with electric heaters, which operate only when the ignition switch is in the ON (II) position.
Press the front part of the switch button (HI) to activate rapid seat heating. Once the seat reaches the desired temperature, press the rear part of the switch button (LO) to switch to the mode that maintains a constant heating level.
The seat will stay warm.
In high heat mode (HI), the system automatically turns off once the seat has heated up, and turns on again if the seat cools down.
In low heat mode (LO), the system operates continuously. The heating modes do not change automatically when the seat temperature changes.
When using the seat heaters, observe the following precautions:
Use the HI mode only for initial heating of the seats.
After the seats have warmed up, switch the system to a low setting. In HI mode, the system draws a large current and may discharge the battery.
Do not operate the seat heaters, even in the moderate (LO) mode, when the engine is off or when the engine is left idling for a long time. This may cause a severe battery discharge and make it difficult to start the engine.
