Locking and unlocking: from outside – by remote control

When locking/unlocking the vehicle, the anti-theft alarm system is switched on or off, the vehicle is armed or disarmed, and the interior light is switched off/on.

At a BMW service center, you can have a signal programmed to confirm that the vehicle has locked correctly.

Do not give your main vehicle keys to unknown persons.

If you need to leave the keys, for example with a hotel attendant, give them the spare key. See page.

People or animals remaining in the vehicle may lock the doors from the inside. To be able to unlock the vehicle from the outside at any time, always take the vehicle keys with you.
