Automatic Climate Control - Automatic Air Quality Control (AUC)
If there is an unpleasant odor from outside or polluted air, you can temporarily shut off the outside air supply to the cabin. In this case, the cabin air circulates in a closed loop. Press the button to switch between the three modes in turn.
► Indicator lamps off: outside air is supplied.
► Left indicator lamp on – AUC mode: the system detects harmful substances and, if necessary, shuts off the outside air supply to the cabin. In this case, the cabin air circulates in a closed loop.
Thereafter, depending on air quality, the automatic system alternates between outside air intake and recirculation mode.
► Right indicator lamp on:
outside air supply is completely shut off. The cabin air circulates in a closed loop.
Using the button on the steering wheel, you can switch between “OFF” and recirculation, or between recirculation and AUC modes.
If the windows fog up in recirculation mode, switch this mode off and increase the airflow if necessary.
