xDrive is the all-wheel-drive system fitted to your X5.

Working together with DSC, it increases traction and improves driving dynamics.

The xDrive all-wheel-drive system variably distributes torque between the front and rear wheels, taking into account the driving situation and the road surface condition.

Malfunctions: Be sure to also refer to the information on the DSC/xDrive indicator lamp on page 19 and on the various indicator lamp combinations on page 18.
