Halogen Headlamps: To prevent the headlamp light from dazzling drivers of oncoming vehicles, the headlamp tilt angle must be adjusted to match the vehicle load.

Values after the slash apply when towing a trailer.

0 / 1 = 1–2 persons without luggage 1 / 1 = 5 persons without luggage 1 / 2 = 5 persons with luggage 2 / 2 = 1 person and full luggage compartment

Vehicles with ride height adjustment: at any load level – position 0.

Exception:

1 person, full luggage compartment and trailer – position 1.

Observe the permissible rear axle load limits.

Xenon Headlamps: Vehicles with xenon headlamps are equipped with a dynamic headlamp levelling system.
