When shifting into 5th or 6th gear, always push the shift lever to the right to avoid accidentally engaging 3rd or 4th gear. When stopped on an incline, do not hold the vehicle in place by slipping the clutch. Use the parking brake for this purpose.

Clutch slipping leads to rapid clutch wear.

Reverse Gear: Engage this position only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop. Move the lever to the left, overcoming resistance.

With the ignition key in position 2, the reverse lights switch on automatically at the same time.
