Cruise Control
The system can memorize and maintain a set vehicle speed not lower than 30 km/h.
The system operates only with the engine running.
Activating the system

Ignition key in position 2 or higher:
press the button on the steering wheel – the indicator lamp will light in the instrument cluster, see page 20.
The system is now ready for use.
Do not use the cruise control system if frequent curves, heavy traffic or poor road conditions (snow, rain, ice, loose surface) do not allow driving at a constant speed.
Switching off the system

Press the button until the indicator lamp goes out in the instrument cluster.
The cruise control system is also switched off when the ignition key is turned to position 0.
The stored speed value is erased.
Setting and maintaining current speed; acceleration

Press and release the "+" button:
the system memorizes and maintains the current speed. With each subsequent press, the speed increases by approximately 1 km/h.
Press and hold the "+" button:
the vehicle accelerates without pressing the accelerator pedal. When you release the button, the system memorizes and maintains the speed reached at that moment.
If engine braking is insufficient when driving downhill, the set speed may be exceeded.
Conversely, on uphill grades the vehicle may fail to reach the set speed if engine power is insufficient.
Deceleration

Press and release the "–" button: each press reduces the speed, if it is currently being regulated by the system, by approximately 1 km/h.
Press and hold the "–" key: if the speed is currently being regulated by the system, the vehicle will decelerate when the throttle closes automatically. When you release the key, the system stores the current speed and maintains it from then on.
System interruption

With the system switched on, press this key – the indicator lamp remains lit. When required, you can restore and maintain the stored speed.
In addition, system operation is interrupted automatically:
► when braking;
► when the clutch pedal is depressed or when the automatic transmission selector lever is moved from position D to position N;
► if the set speed is exceeded or undershot for an extended period (for example, by pressing the accelerator pedal).
Restoring the stored speed

Press the key: the system will bring the speed to the stored value and maintain it.
