Trip Computer on MID - Anti-Theft System with Additional Functions

You can block engine starting with a code: the engine will not start until the correct code is entered.

If you forget the code, the engine can be started after emergency deactivation of the alarm, see the next page.

Entering and activating the code:

Press the right edge of the button.

Press the left edge of the button.

Display:

Enter the code by pressing the appropriate buttons.

To correct the entered value,

press the left edge of this button and enter the new value.

To save the entered value,

press the right edge of the button.

Turn the ignition key to position 0.

Unlocking the engine:

When the code is requested (ignition key in position 1 or 2):

► enter the code by pressing the appropriate buttons.

Press the right edge of the button.

After entering the correct code and confirming it with the "SET" button, the clock is displayed.

After three incorrect code entries, or starting the engine without a code on vehicles with an alarm system, the alarm sounds for 30 seconds.

Emergency alarm deactivation:

If you have forgotten the code, perform the following steps:

1. Disconnect the battery, wait 2 minutes, then reconnect it. On vehicles with an alarm system, the alarm sounds.
2. Turn the ignition key to position 1. A countdown timer runs in the display for ten minutes.
3. After ten minutes, start the engine.

If you remember the code, you can enter it by pressing the "CODE" button before the waiting time expires.
