This switch can be used to prevent the rear windows from being opened and closed with the window regulator switches in the rear passenger compartment (for example, by children). This lockout also applies to the adjustment of the power rear seats,

When transporting children in the rear seats, deactivate the rear window regulators with the safety switch. This will protect them from injury.
